Paintings To Music

I feel like it is the best way to describe what I want to achieve in this body of work is synesthesia. When listening to certain songs, I can often visualize how a painting would be created along with the music. Since 2012, I have been taking songs that inspire me and breaking them down by beats per minute, making elaborate notes, and then recording my painting process in stop-motion. After editing, the end effect is a video that shows my brush strokes lining up beat by beat to the notes of a song. I love this process and hope to keep polishing it.
